For what matters.

We design and manufacture archival and display systems that protect and showcase collectibles.

Materials and Technical Documentation

We use genuine PLEXIGLAS® materials in the manufacture of our ArchiveBox™ and DisplayBox™ systems. Here you can find the manufacturer's technical documentation, material properties and specifications to help you verify their performance.

PLEXIGLAS® GS – Clear Cast Acrylic

PLEXIGLAS® GS is a high-quality cast polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) with excellent optical clarity and light transmission. We use this material as standard in our DisplayBox™ systems.

  • Material: Cast PMMA (PLEXIGLAS® GS)
  • Light transmission: 92%
  • Excellent optical clarity and transparency
  • High resistance to weathering
  • Natural absorption of some UV radiation

PLEXIGLAS® GS naturally absorbs some UV radiation. For collectibles requiring enhanced UV protection, we also offer specialised PLEXIGLAS® UV100 material, providing at least 99.7% UV protection in the 280–380 nm range, as specified by the manufacturer for 3 mm thickness.

PLEXIGLAS® Optical HC –
UV Protection and Hard-Coated Surface

PLEXIGLAS® Clear 0A570 HC is a highly transparent extruded PMMA material offering excellent UV protection and a hard coating on one side. At a thickness of 3 mm, it transmits approximately 0.3% of UV radiation in the 280–380 nm range, providing approximately 99.7% UV protection while maintaining high visible light transmission. The hard coating (HC) also improves resistance to abrasion, scratching and chemical exposure.
